Founder & CEO

With a strong business sense, a deep understanding of clients’ needs and an unfailing dedication to high integrity business practices, Brandt oversees all company departments at Launch Leads, his third successful business venture.

As a young entrepreneur with a bootstrapping mentality, Brandt believes in doing more with less, focusing on quality of service, and consistent innovation throughout the company. With experience in starting multiple profitable businesses centered on the highly competitive sales and marketing industry, Brandt continues to make his mark on Utah’s entrepreneurial landscape.

Brandt and his team’s award-winning strategies have enabled companies to improve their bottom line and reduce costs by allowing Launch Leads to do the “heavy lifting” of prospecting and lead generation on their behalf. Brandt’s personal dedication to accountability and honesty has led to the formation of long-lasting and quality business relationships with clients.

Prior to founding Launch Leads (formerly Launch Sales and Marketing), Brandt partnered in starting Seatability, LLC, winning 4th & 3rd place in the Entrepreneur of the Year Competition at Brigham Young University as well as landing on the Top 10 in the Utah Entrepreneurial Challenge. Later, he helped build and lead an internal sales team and started Mortgage Compliance Advisors, LLC (MCA). While at MCA, Brandt built the sales and marketing teams, structure, systems and processes taking the start-up company to $1 million in sales in their first 8 months before a private equity firm acquired majority ownership.

Brandt is active in numerous associations, including Utah Technology Council, Provo Tech-X as a Board Member and mentor, Junto Partners, Corporate Alliance, ConnectShare, and Step by Step: Scholarships for Humanitarian Travel as a Board Member.

Brandt earned a B.S. of Communications from Brigham Young University.

He is a mentor for the Community Foundation of Utah and works with at-risk youth in Salt Lake City. He been on numerous panels and has judged various business competitions.

Andrew RailAndrew Rail
Director of Client Services

Andrew Rail heads up Launch Leads’ Client Services division. As the Director of Client Services, Andrew works closely with Launch’s clients in reporting progress to them, discussing marketing strategies with them, and advising them on sales opportunities.

Andrew has been involved in marketing, sales, and strategy since 1995. He is a proven sales and thought leader.

In 2002, Andrew drafted marketing plans for a technology company in Taiwan, driving their North American office for Fortune 500 companies, which led to multiple multimillion dollar deals. From 2003 to 2005, Andrew worked at George Mason University helping to broker public-private partnerships in formulating national security policy. He also spent a year in China training and consulting senior-level government leaders, media officials, and business leaders. Since 2006 Andrew has excelled in outsourced sales for companies run by Robert Kiyosaki, Stephen Covey, and Jack Canfield. While still in college at BYU, he trained men and women for humanitarian service in Hungary.

Andrew joined Launch in 2009, focusing on technology sales and operations. He was appointed as the Director of Client Services in October of 2010.

Andrew holds a Masters Degree from George Mason University. He received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University. He currently serves on the Director’s Council for Reach the Children, a nonprofit focused on self reliance solutions to poverty and AIDS in East Africa.

 

Dave GoatesDave Goates
Director of Sales

Dave is an experienced business strategist who is a principal owner in Omega Financial Group, LLC, a local financial consulting firm. He has been extensively involved in the organization of many successful startups, turnarounds, and sales management. Before joining Launch, he created a sales group originating annuity product for securitization in a CDO.

Teaching strategic and consultative selling courses was part of organizing and training wholly-owned captive finance groups for multi-national manufacturers like Symbol Technologies (New York), ElectroCom Automation (Arlington, Texas), Tektronics (Portland, Oregon), and CRL Industries (Chicago, Illinois). Dave also co-edited Assset Financing Strategies.

He has developed estate-planning solutions, and has experience in real estate development. He currently authors a blog, “The Goates Notes,” offering contemporary commentary on politics and religion. His philosophy is that when you’re done changing, you’re done!

Goates volunteers with his wife, Patsy, as the Chair for the Professional Placement Program of the LDS Employment Resource Center in Salt Lake City.

 

Marv Curtis
Director of Operations

Prior to Launch Marv was co-owner of The Investors Paradigm, a boutique mortgage lending company where he was responsible for webinar development, strategic up-selling, and cross-selling outbound marketing strategies and implementation. For 15 years he was co-owner of a 150 seat call center that serviced multiple consumer finance companies of which he was either co-founder or co-owner. Mr. Curtis was Vice President of Operations for Feature Films for Families and was responsible for the customer service and collections call centers.

 

John RailJohn Rail
Director of Human Resources

John brings extensive professional experience to the table for Launch Leads. As a member of Launch’s leadership team John is responsible for planning, developing, and administering human resource functions within Launch.

Prior to joining the Launch team, John served as Director of Corporate Quality for Learnframe, a Web-based learning management software system for corporate employee training programs. Working closely with the Executive and HR teams, he was instrumental in developing and implementing practical and sound HR processes and procedures for the company. John has influenced or been involved with human capital, HR, and leadership development for over three decades at Micron Technologies, NCI Information Systems, CACI International, and the U.S. Military.

Mr. Rail served in the U.S. Army for 20 years, retiring in 1989.

John joined Launch in September 2009 and was appointed Director of Human Resources in October 2010.

John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.
