DATA CONSULTING & DATA SCIENCE LEAD GENERATION°

Data consulting & data science lead generation that fills your pipeline with qualified buyers.

You’ve built the data practice — engineers hired, models shipped to production, a platform that delivers. What you need is a pipeline of buyers with a defined problem, a budget, and an active timeline. Our data consulting & data science lead generation engine puts your firm in front of pre-screened analytics and data leaders who have decision authority and a real business case — not innovation-theater tire-kickers, not “we’re just exploring ML” conversations that never close.

DATA & ANALYTICS MARKET CHALLENGES°

Solving data consulting & data science lead generation challenges

Your models are in production. Your platform delivers. What stalls data pipelines is sourcing — ROI-skeptical buyers, a value proposition that’s genuinely hard to articulate, dual technical-and-executive committees, and a market full of “just exploring” tire-kickers. Our data consulting & data science lead generation methodology cuts through all four.

01

Long, ROI-skeptical sales cycles

Data and analytics deals run 6 to 18 months while buyers pressure-test the ROI case across IT, the business sponsor, and finance. We sequence engagement by stakeholder so the relationship survives the cycle — and your account doesn’t reset every time the conversation moves up the chain.

02

A value proposition that's hard to articulate

Every firm claims “data-driven,” “AI-powered,” and “end-to-end analytics.” Our SDRs lead with your specific expertise — the platforms you build on, the problems you solve, the outcomes you’ve shipped — not category buzzwords, so prospects engage on substance.

03

Dual technical and executive buyers

A data engineering lead vets your stack while a business sponsor controls the budget and finance signs the check. We map the committee before outreach and pace each stakeholder to their own decision criteria so deals don’t stall between the lab and the boardroom.

04

Tire-kickers vs. production-ready buyers

Plenty of organizations are “exploring ML” with no data maturity, no infrastructure, and no business case. We screen for a defined problem, budget authority, and an active timeline up front — so your AEs spend their hours on buyers who can actually deploy, not innovation theater.

WHY CHOOSE LAUNCH LEADS°

Why data consulting firms choose Launch Leads

Data-fluent SDRs

Our reps speak the language — data engineering vs. data science, MLOps and model deployment, BI vs. advanced analytics, Snowflake, Databricks, and the major cloud platforms. No script-readers running generic outbound plays.

End-to-end pipeline support

From list build to qualified meeting to nurture sequence — we own the top of the funnel so your consultants and AEs stay focused on scoping engagements and closing statements of work.

Operates as an extension of your team

Your SDRs use your messaging, your qualification standards, your CRM. By the time meetings reach your principal or AE, they don’t feel like agency hand-offs — they feel like internal pipeline.

WHAT CLIENTS SAY°

In their words

Why B2B sales teams pick Launch — and stick.

We have long sales cycles. We needed somebody who could tee up qualified leads for our high-powered sales team. Other companies hadn’t delivered the results we needed. Launch turned leads into results right out of the gate.

LONNIE MAYNE

VP Sales & Marketing · Mindshare

They adapted quickly and articulated our value proposition — which is not easy by any means. We’re very particular about who we trust with that responsibility, and Launch has earned it.

GREG HOWELL

Sr. Manager, Business Development · MarketStar

The people they have are experienced — they understand how to sell to VPs and directors. We spent two or three hours over two days and they were off and running. One deal more than paid for our entire investment.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS°

Common questions, straight answers

The questions data and analytics leaders ask most before signing on. Don’t see yours? Start a conversation.

How quickly does outreach start producing appointments?

Outreach starts in week one. List build, messaging, and target-account research finish during onboarding so day one of the engagement is dialing day — we don’t ramp by quarter. First qualified appointments typically land within the first week, with steady weekly cadence by week three. Your AEs see meetings on the calendar before most agencies have finished writing their kickoff deck.

What does "qualified" mean in your model?

Three-point standard, and all three must be met. Verified pain — the prospect has named a specific forecasting, infrastructure, or analytics problem, not just expressed curiosity about “doing more with data.” Decision authority — they can sign for it, or they’re one of two people who can. Active timeline — they’re evaluating in the next 90 days, not “someday next year.” Anything short of all three doesn’t make your AE’s calendar. Most agencies count anything with a pulse as a “lead.” We don’t.

Do you work with both boutique data-science shops and enterprise analytics consultancies?

Yes — our client mix spans both. A boutique ML shop and a full-service analytics consultancy have different sales motions (specialist depth vs. breadth of platform), different value propositions, and different objection patterns. We tune the messaging and qualification standard to your model — not a generic “data” pitch that fits neither.

How do you handle long, multi-stakeholder, ROI-skeptical sales cycles?

We sequence engagement by stakeholder. The data engineering or analytics lead enters first — they’re the ones who’ll vet your technical fit and approach. The business sponsor and finance enter later, at the ROI-and-terms stage. Our SDRs stay involved through the nurture phase so the handoff to your AE doesn’t reset the conversation. A deal that takes nine months can’t survive being thrown over a wall at month three; our model is built so it doesn’t have to.

What size data consulting firms do you work with?

Mid-market through enterprise — most clients land between $5M and $500M in revenue. The common thread isn’t size, it’s sales infrastructure: you need an existing principal, AE, or solutions team capable of scoping an engagement and closing a statement of work once qualified meetings hit the calendar. If you’re earlier-stage without that motion in place, we’ll tell you upfront.

What does onboarding look like, and how do we align on messaging?

Onboarding runs five to ten business days from kickoff. We use that window to build the target account list, finalize your messaging, train SDRs on your service lines and platform expertise, and integrate with your CRM. Most kickoff work compresses into two or three short working sessions — your time stays minimal. Messaging gets iterated weekly during the first month based on real call data — what’s landing, what isn’t, where to adjust. The hard part in this category is articulating a technical value proposition in plain business terms; that’s exactly what we tune in week one.

Can you target by industry, tech stack, or data maturity?

Yes, and segmentation goes deeper than industry alone. We layer tech stack (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, AWS, GCP), data maturity, team size, existing tooling, revenue band, geography, and whether they have in-house data engineering. The output is a tight target list of 200–800 accounts that actually fit your offer — not a generic “companies with data” pull from a list vendor. Sloppy targeting is the single biggest reason outbound campaigns underperform. We fix it before week one.

How is pricing structured?

Monthly retainer, scoped to your target volume, account complexity, and engagement cycle length. Enterprise targets and longer cycles cost more to engage; smaller mid-market plays cost less. We don’t publish a rate card because each firm’s service mix and offer looks different, and a flat price would either overcharge half our clients or undercharge the other half.
