Third Day on the Job and I’m Still Alive

Launch Leads, third day on the job so not a lot to say…
I’m still alive though, and that’s a good thing right?

So far, if nothing else, it’s definitely been educational. Listening to others as they talk to various contacts. How they “finesse” their way through various roadblocks, virtual or otherwise. And also on my own as I discover better ways to procure information and work at setting appointments on my own.

Another rookie, although perhaps a rookie no more, has already set two appointments…and only three days in. I suppose it could be discouraging, but I find it to be the opposite. Seeing the success of others is quite encouraging. The encouragement and readily available, willingly given advice and help of those with more experience is also a boon.

I’ve also been very impressed by the workplace environment and the conduct of everyone involved: professional and yet relaxed.

As I said, third day on the job so only time will tell how my experience here will result.
But I’m still alive, and that’s a good thing right?
